Community is the people you experience Christ with.
We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples who then go and make other disciples, and we do this by committing to first be students of the Word and then share what we’ve learned. We want to always point people back to Jesus, and we believe the best way to do this is to commit to spending Christ-centered time with each other.
Life Groups
One of the ways we experience Christ with each other is through Life Groups. Our life groups meet at various homes during the week in multiple locations throughout the area. In the same way that the Acts church spread the gospel by meeting together and building each other up in the faith and the Word, we connect in our life groups for the purpose of fellowship and discipleship, too.
All of our groups are meeting in person and virtually. This means you can join us from anywhere in the world!
Core Class
Committing yourself to a community of believers is an important decision, but it’s also a wonderful one. When members officially join Summit, they commit to a spiritual family that will encourage, equip and support their growth in relationship with The Lord. Team Summit
We believe that the heart of the gospel is not centered around what the church can do for us, but its focus is what we can do for others through Christ. The overflow of a disciple’s life should be spent serving others. At Summit, we pursue and live out this discipleship trait through volunteer opportunities. Worship
Whether through vocals, instruments or sound engineering, volunteers on our worship team inspire, engage, and encourage members and guests to enter into corporate and personal worship with The Lord. They model what it means to live a life of worship before God through personal relationship with Him and through their talents of singing, playing instruments, or engineering the sound.

If you have a heart for middle school and high school students and desire to develop meaningful relationships with them, this may be the volunteer experience for you. Our youth leaders encourage their groups to regularly attend services, participate in their fun events, serve others, and ultimately become disciple-makers. (Background check is required)

Children are so important to God, and serving them is our top priority. Are you interested in influencing generations for God’s kingdom, loving His children, and teaching them His ways? Becoming a discipler of kindergarten through 5th grade children is such a vital role in our ministry, and we’d love to invite you to serve this amazing group of leaders. Do you have a desire to love on and teach babies or young children? The nursery/pre-school team is responsible for the overall care, safety and nurturing of this precious age group. Curriculum is provided, lessons are developed for you, and junior volunteers assist you. (Background check is required)

Is fervent, intense, passionate prayer your life-line to The Lord? The bible depicts prayer as a critical element to the life and ministry of Jesus, so we want to reflect this priority in the work of our prayer team as a response to the truth that we worship a God who cares for us personally and answers the prayers of His people.

This team consists of ushers, greeters, hospitality and parking teams. Do people compliment you on how warm and inviting you are? Do you enjoy helping people find their way through large spaces, showing them to their seats? Maybe you’re the kind of person who always thinks about other people’s needs ahead of time in order to accommodate them.
